A record total of more than 100 applications were received for the latest intake of ANDHealth+, Australia’s leading and internationally recognised digital and connected health commercialisation program.

The record response exceeds the more than 90 applications received in the previous intake in late 2025, demonstrating the significant and sustained demand among evidence-based Australian digital health technology companies for non-dilutive investment combined with specialist, expert-led commercialisation support.

It comes as ANDHealth last month received international recognition for its impact, with its flagship program ANDHealth+ nominated in in the Best Incubators, Accelerators and Equity category at the 2026 Prix Galien USA Awards, widely regarded as the Nobel Prize equivalent for life sciences. The winner will be announced on 29 October 2026.

ANDHealth is the first Australian commercialisation organisation to be nominated in this category and is one of only 11 organisations globally shortlisted, alongside leading institutions including Mayo Clinic.

ANDHealth Chief Executive Bronwyn Le Grice said the response to the latest ANDHealth+ intake, coupled with the Prix Galien USA nomination, underscored both the quality of Australian digital and connected health innovation and the need to provide deep domain expertise and support to enable our best and brightest companies to reach patients, health systems and markets at scale.

“Receiving 104 applications for the latest intake of ANDHealth+ demonstrates that Australia continues to be home to a growing pipeline of digital and connected health technologies with the potential to deliver significant health and economic benefits,” Ms Le Grice said.

Since launching the current iteration of ANDHealth+ in late 2025 with up to $5 million per company, ANDHealth has seen a 77 per cent increase in applications across two intakes compared to the average across the previous four intakes in 2021-2025.

“Over the past decade, ANDHealth has championed, grown and shaped this pipeline of companies that are innovating across the full clinical landscape and changing the face of health and care around the globe. However, patient and skilled capital specific to this sector remains incredibly scarce.

“The unique combination of non-dilutive funding and international-scale, expert-led support delivered through ANDHealth+ is essential for our innovators to continue to invest in the critical clinical and commercial evidence required to bring their life-changing technologies to patients and health systems around the globe.”

Supported by the Australian Government through the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF), applications for the latest intake of the ANDHealth+ program opened on 20 August 2026 and closed on 29 September 2026. The industry-led competitive selection process will identify up to five companies from this intake, with successful companies to be announced in early 2027.

Participants in the ANDHealth+ program receive tailored project support, access to ANDHealth’s network of international digital health industry leaders, and up to $5 million in milestone-based, non-dilutive funding per company over the 18-month, two-stage program.

To date, the 28 ANDHealth+ alumni companies have collectively raised more than $211 million in follow-on funding, generated more than $97 million in new revenue and impacted more than 4.7 million patients. Since 2021, 100% of ANDHealth+ alumni companies have gone on to secure follow-on funding, one of the highest rates of any accelerator or incubator program globally.
