ANDHealth’s Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF)-backed programs have now supported 36 digital health companies to accelerate the commercialisation and uptake of their cutting-edge technologies.
ANDHealth Founder and CEO Bronwyn Le Grice said the latest quarterly data to 30 September 2026 on outcome metrics from ANDHealth’s non-dilutive investment programs further highlighted why its innovative “harness the collective” model for supporting health technology commercialisation was amongst the best in the world.
“The number of patients impacted by technologies we have supported has grown by more than 50 per cent in less than a year and more than a quarter billion dollars have now been raised in follow-on funding – these are extraordinary results,” Ms Le Grice said.
Together, the 36 companies supported by ANDHealth through the ANDHealth+, CUREator+ and CUREator+ Dementia and Cognitive Decline programs have:
- Impacted more than 5.2 million patients
- Attracted $260 million in follow-on funding
- Commenced more than 1170 clinical trials and studies and commercial pilots
- Generated $113 million in revenue
- Undertaken 60 new international market launches
- Achieved 42 new regulatory clearances
- Created over 600 new, high-value jobs
“These companies are innovating across a broad range of clinical indications and technology types. From wearable sensors that predict life-threatening complications in childbirth, to at-home treatments that help patients avoid surgery, remote rehabilitation that reduces hospital stays, and AI that helps surgeons remove cancer more precisely. It’s all being invented, developed and commercialised right here in Australia,” Ms Le Grice said.
Since 2017, ANDHealth has championed, grown and shaped a national pipeline of 1480 digital and connected health companies, coalescing more than $100 million in funding and support into the sector, which did not previously exist.
“These results show what Australian digital health companies can achieve when they are backed by non-dilutive capital, deep domain and commercialisation expertise and a clear pathway to institutional investment and international markets,” Ms Le Grice said.
ANDHealth received national and international recognition last month with its ANDHealth+ program being awarded silver in the medical category of the 2026 Australian Financial Review BOSS Most Innovative Companies Awards and also being recognised as the one of only 11 nominees worldwide in the Best Incubators, Accelerators and Equity category of the 2026 Prix Galien USA Awards. ANDHealth is the first Australian commercialisation organisation to be nominated for the Prix Galien USA Awards.
