Further strengthening patient and user engagement in the development of digital and connected health technologies is at the heart of a new partnership between Humanise Health and ANDHealth, Australia’s leading digital and connected health commercialisation organisation.

Under the industry partnership agreement, Humanise Health will work closely with ANDHealth to ensure the needs and views of patients and end-users, including clinicians and administrators, are meaningfully incorporated into key decision-making and project development processes across digital and connected health cohorts supported by ANDHealth’s flagship commercialisation program, ANDHealth+.

Humanise Health was founded in 2021 to amplify patient, carer, and consumer voices within health sector businesses. It is a patient-led advocacy agency that works with leading health sector businesses to drive authentic engagement and real-world impact in the health sector, along with more human-centred, empathetic healthcare solutions and strategies.

Australia’s digital and connected health sector has experienced extraordinary growth in recent years, growing at over 50 per cent year on year since 2019, and is positioned to deliver substantive economic and health benefits to Australians, as well as to patients around the globe.

ANDHealth now works closely with more than 1,200 digital and connected health companies across Australia, as well as international partners. It delivers world-class commercialisation skills training, accelerator and incubator programs and provides professional management of substantial non-dilutive funding through the MRFF, all of which are designed to create fit-to-fund and fit-to-deploy technologies at the forefront of health innovation.

Humanise Health CEO and Founder Krystal Barter said Humanise Health shares ANDHealth’s commitment to authentic and meaningful patient and end-user engagement in the development of digital and connected health technologies.

“We applaud ANDHealth’s proactive attitude, collaborative nature, and focus on ensuring demonstrated patient, user and stakeholder voice is as a core component of its programs.

“We look forward to supporting them to further include the needs and views of patients and users to support the growth and commercialisation activities of digital health companies developing patient-focused and life-changing technologies.”

ANDHealth CEO Bronwyn Le Grice said ANDHealth is deeply committed to embedding the community, patient, and end-user voice at every stage of digital and connected health innovation.

“Working with Humanise Health strengthens our expertise in this area and ensures companies participating in our programs have the opportunity to further amplify the patient, caregiver and end-user voice, helping translate real-world needs into world-class solutions that deliver impact for all Australians.”
