The partnership between ANDHealth and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre will further enable Peter Mac to access and implement evidence-based, cutting-edge digital and connected health solutions at the forefront of Australian innovation to help it continue its mission to deliver exceptional research-informed care to people living with cancer.
Peter Mac is Australia’s leading comprehensive cancer centre and only public hospital nationally that is solely dedicated to cancer care. It was named Australia’s “Outstanding Hospital” in the 2025 Patients Australia Awards (August 2025) and was rated 14th globally, and top in Australia, in Newsweek’s latest ranking of the world’s best specialised cancer hospitals (issued September 2025).
The partnership will see ANDHealth receive valuable frontline insights on what clinicians and health providers need from digital and connected health technologies while Peter Mac will ensure it keeps pace with new and emerging health technologies.
ANDHealth supports a pipeline of more than 1,200 digital and connected health companies across Australia, as well as international partners, to provide a holistic and up-to-date perspective on practical and developing digital and connected health technology solutions. It also administers non-dilutive grant funding and mentoring programs, including programs funded through the Australian Government’s Medical Research Future Fund.
Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre Chief Medical Officer Dr Dishan Herath said the partnership would drive further innovation in digital health for Peter Mac in an evidence-based way.
