ANDHealth has announced the 15 Victorian companies selected for 2026 intake of its highly impactful ACTIVATE scale-up program, supported by LaunchVic and the Victorian Government.

These 15 companies are tackling some of Australia's most pressing health system challenges across aged care, cancer support, clinical trials, disability services and hospital-to-home care.

The technologies include everything from AI-powered fall detection and contactless vital signs monitoring for older adults to AI-powered nanorobotics for early detection and treatment of diseases.

ANDHealth CEO Bronwyn Le Grice said, "The calibre of companies successfully selected for this 2026 ACTIVATE cohort reflects the quality and ambition we're seeing across the Australian digital and connected health sector."

"These companies aren't just building new technologies – they're solving real, systemic problems in ways that can genuinely improve patient outcomes and reduce pressure on our health system."

Latest analysis shows Victoria continues to lead the country as home to the largest number of digital and connected health companies in Australia (43.2%), with 595 companies.

The 15 companies selected for the 2026 ACTIVATE program are:

  • AIKangaroo: Its flagship product VitaRay integrates sensing technology and AI-driven analytics to enable continuous health monitoring and early risk detection for elderly care, supporting ageing-in-place.
  • BedSet: A hybrid falls prevention program delivered through a novel device, modular educational video series and online content to ensure patient and resident beds are kept at a safe individualised height.
  • CareNeighbour: CareNeighbour creates a verified record of what happens inside every home care visit. By combining a wearable device, mobile app, and provider software, the platform turns each consent-based session into structured documentation, family updates, carer records, and provider quality signals, helping providers reduce admin, improve transparency, and manage care quality at scale.
  • CareTrust: Replaces paper forms with a single digital profile you own and keep current, so your information and consent are always ready when seeking care  - whether at a clinic, hospital, or aged care home.
  • Clinical Avatar: Building emotionally intelligent AI avatars that conduct critical healthcare conversations at a scale that human workforces alone cannot deliver.
  • Coherence Healthcare: Its Coherence Hub combines advanced sensing, wearable technologies, AI coaching and medication management into a single eco-system to extend hospital level care at home.
  • Curae Health: A dental services company providing critical specialised services, including custom-made prostheses, dental radiology, and advanced dental technology solutions.
  • GreenAnt Networks: Its web-based platform, Juuri, has been purpose-built for research and health teams to build engaging programs and studies without the need for custom coding.
  • MyVitalsVault: A patient-controlled digital health platform that gives people instant access to a portable medical summary. It enables individuals to securely share health information across providers and settings, reducing delays, and risk during emergencies, travel, and transitions of care.
  • NanoCube Health: Developing AI-powered nanorobotics for the early detection and diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
  • OnQ: A clinician-governed AI-based, digital navigation to help support cancer patients through their treatment and survivorship.
  • Sports Buddy Australia: Its digital health platform, HURT, is transforming injury and concussion management in community sport by connecting clubs, players, and healthcare providers.
  • TrialEdge AI: An AI platform that brings regulatory writers, trial sites, and sponsors onto one connected workflow. From protocol drafting to post-study submissions, the months of work needed to write study reports, safety narratives, and assemble trial master files now takes a few hours, fully referenced and ready for FDA, EMA, and TGA review. The result is faster submissions, fewer regulatory rejections, and continuous audit readiness.
  • UNPLEXi: UNPLEXi is care intelligence software that helps disability and care providers make proactive, data-informed care decisions by turning fragmented care and clinical information into one structured, living picture of every person's needs, from intake through their entire care journey.
  • Voral.ai: Voral.ai has built Liza, an AI assistant that answers patient phone calls for GP and specialist clinics: booking appointments, assessing urgency, and handling after-hours calls around the clock.
