– CHICC workshops are free to Victorian Digital and Digitally Enabled Medical Technology Companies thanks to the support of the Australian Medtech Manufacturing Centre and the Victorian Government Department of Jobs Skills Industry and Regions.
– All participating companies will be required to participate in post-workshop surveys as a condition of registration. Companies which do not complete post-workshop surveys may be required to pay a registration fee for any future workshops.
– Numbers are strictly limited with only 30 seats available at each workshop.

Executive Director Michael Huberts will lead the session, followed by an engaging panel discussion with Executive Search experts Marilyn Jones and Jason Borrie.

Michael leads the Australian and Asia Pacific operations for Coulter Partners, the largest global retained Executive Search firm specializing in the Life Sciences, Healthcare and Technology sectors. He has worked in Executive Search to the Healthcare sector since 2005, and prior to his current role was owner operator of a boutique regional search firm (focused on Life Sciences and Technology) operating out of Melbourne, Tokyo and Singapore.
Michael provides retained Executive Search services for Board and C-Level appointments as well as coaching and leadership assessments. Michael’s non-search career was in Investor Relations Advisory; supporting Venture Capital, Private Equity and publicly listed companies with their capital raising strategies. He holds an MBA from The University of Oxford, Saïd Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University, Australia.
Marilyn is an Executive Recruiter and Scientist with over 26 years’ experience in resourcing staff for organisations including in digital health.
Marilyn conducted research in cancer and immunology, which led her to manage a project focusing on developing human therapeutics, identifying wheat varieties, and testing for infectious diseases.
After a period of selling complex scientific instrumentation systems into the Pharmaceutical, Research, Pathology, Analytical and Manufacturing sectors, Marilyn made the fortuitous move into Recruitment, where she has now been for over 26 years.
Her company mexec ‘connects people for success’. mexec is an Executive Search Recruitment firm that that assists companies in the biotechnology, health and innovation sectors to build their leadership teams.
Marilyn and mexec also provides support to individuals seeking to transition to new roles including C- Suite and Board.
Jason Borrie is a Director of HPM Executive, a specialist Executive Search & Selection firm. HPM Exectuvie focus on sourcing and securing talented business leaders within the Health and Life Sciences sector.
Jason has held international consulting and leadership roles in the recruitment industry since 1995. This includes managing board-level engagements across divergent sectors, including; Investment Banking, Funds Management, Insurance, Primary Healthcare, Aged Care, Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology.
His recruitment career started within one of the world’s leading Executive recruitment firms. Here, he launched several new business units across their Financial Services and Healthcare practices in London and Sydney. He then headed the Health and Life Sciences division of a highly regarded Australian Executive Search boutique, before establishing HPM Executive in 2007
